I know this is a radio board, but does anybody know anything about KEFB-34 from Ames? I just noticed I am getting it in my local DSM package on Directv. They don't have a website as far as I can tell on a brief search on the net.

How long have they been on the air? Also I wonder how much they are having to pay Directv to carry their stuff.

The station signed on a few months ago. What kind of programming do they run? I'm guessing Christian with the owner's name, Family Educational Broadcasting.

They don't have to pay DirecTV anything. Their class is full-power (even though they don't operate at anywhere near maximum power) so they can demand carriage on satellite and cable.
