Christmas lasted only a short time. As of 4 pm CT they're
now "96-1 the Brew"... with new calls it sounded like, KBRW?
Format is rock... so far at least. Stay tuned!

I taped the change over, I can post it on my web page.
If you're intersted let me know.

** Glad you liked it. My web stats show over 100 people
have downloaded it so far! That's a lot of Brew... :)

** I'll vote NO. Three's a crowd... we already have Z-92
and CD 105.9. I don't see the Brew providing anything
unique. Are there enough rock fans to split the listenership
three ways in this market? Most of them will go to Z-92
as they traditionally have in ratings.

** Well, maybe 105.9 will switch now. I can still hope
"The City" will be reincarnated on another station in town.

** I suspect 106.9 Bob FM will be the next in line for a
change. I just can't see the format lasting.

My sampling tells me that I like this station. I'm sure it's 50% "new" feeling though, like you get with any format change.
I can't put my finger on it yet though.

Calls on 96-1: KQBW

I finally heard them yesterday at 4 pm. I had
misunderstood them. They're still jockless.
