KDGE-FM


Effective Monday, January 7th, Lex & Terry will simulcast on KDGE and KEGL for two days. Wednesday they will begin mornings on KEGL.
We will look for a replacement morning show on KDGE.
Alan Ayo will do mid-days on KDGE.
Jessie will continue with afternoons on KDGE.
We will be announcing new evening talent in the near future.

KEGL-FM


Effective Monday, January 7th, Lex & Terry will simulcast on KEGL and KDGE for two days. Wednesday they will begin mornings full time on KEGL.
Chris Ryan will move to afternoons and become Assistant PD on KEGL effective Monday, January 7th.
We will be adding additional talent to KEGL in the near future.
 
Don't you have to have talent b4 adding "additional" talent?
 
I'm glad to hear Chris Ryan will be back on The Eagle.
 
Well Lex And Terry are a much better match On the Eagle then The Edge...
All there other affiliates are Rock Stations...
Russ martin will prolly come back too...

I dont pay attention to the rest of the EDGES lineup. However, I think Chris Ryan does a great job.

At 1st thought I would have said "When Pigs Fly" BUT Russ and JD did get along just fine....Russ's best numbers were under JD...it was after Jacor/CC merged and Tom A$$wipe Schurr came up and fusterclucked the cluster...and RMS and Bo and Jim at ZPS were the 1st two causualties (AHH I stand corrected; Allan and U Turn on MIX were)....and then most of the stations started to tank..ZPS from #3 in demo to #17; Eagle #1 in their demo to #13...ggeesh and how did CC respond??? They move Schurr to Memphis and now he is a Sr VP in the company...what a joke of a manager; He is the type that caused my stock to go from $100/share to $30 a share but his nose is sooo deep in John Hogan, watch out, his brain could explode if Hogan passes gas enough!...BUT I doubt Russ will head back to the Eagle...unless he can play rock and have his show his way (and it would have to be morning drive again!!)....but with Val and the others scattered, it would not be the same and CC would have to wiggle LOTS of green in front of Russ....and they probably wont do it..

Lex and Terry used to be on 1430 AM (The Buzz) in Tulsa. Maybe they still are. I haven't listened for a while. The Buzz is a sports station. I always thought it was weird that they were on that station.
 
Anyone have thoughts on replacements? Here's a small list of good Alternative talent that's out there:

1) Chris Cantore (just got fired from 91x in San Diego)
2) Opie and Anthony???
3) Sherman and Tingle (up and coming afternoons out of Chicago)
4) Toucher and Rich (good afternoon show out of Boston)
5) Eliot in the Morning (out of DC,funny guy)

Please, not O&A & not Eliot in the morning neither. If I was looking for a morning show for the Edge it would be a man & a woman because L&T is a morning show for men.
 
Knowning CC, it'll be a bottom of the barrel choice from a lesser-rung market like willkes-barr, PA. or El Paso.
