KEGL calls?

Maybe I missed it, but any word on whether 97.1 keeps or changes the KEGL calls?

They're probably going to leave it since they're legendary calls. KSJO/San Francisco and KWID/Las Vegas (two other "La Preciosa" formats) still have their old calls from after their flips.<P ID="signature">______________

Like a cheap lady of the night, CC serves everyone. They'd rent their grandmother out if the price was right. Trouble is, they rarely program anything that even attracts flies, especially in Dalls/Ft. Worth. So keep ralling the troops buddy. My bet is they will do a mediocre attempt at Mexican stuff just like they do nearly everything else. I'm sure Entravision and Univison are trembling in their sombreros right now. Yeah, right.

Classic country -- 92.1 "Country Gold" KTFW

Americana -- 95.3 "The Range" KHYI
 
For someone who has never work at Clear Channel and never has seen it form the Inside out point of view, "sure thinks he knows about them alright".

There is money to be made in the haspanic format and better then that a Spanish Oldies I predict and big winner over the haspanic population listening to the new format. There is a audiance for it and now Clear Channel is serving it.


Now if Clear Channel was stupid do you think they would have gotten this far in the media business? Lets see if your company can do as good as Clear Channel.

You can rant and rave Clear Channel Sucks but the truth of the matter is is that we are better then everyone else and make no mistake we are taking names and kicking butt and we have proved just that.

Sorry for us whiping the Eagle off, but it had to go it was on life support since the eairly 90's anyway.

YES! Christopher Haze's/ Randy Brown's All Hit 97.1 KEGL! Bring back Stevens and Pruitt or Moby for mornings! This is why it saddens me to see KEGL become such a waste. I remember when it was a great station under REAL leadership!<P ID="signature">______________
