Keith Clark is leaving

Jkf said:
Buh bye. And when he leaves maybe he will take The Fan format with him.

As noted previously, he had nothing to do with the Fan. However, B94 was his baby, as was the B morning show. Y108 is fine, but I think you could see things happen at Star.

I can't believe this guy kept his job as long as he did. He did nothing but ruin the former infinity stations in Pittsburgh. It was not his decision to switch the formats of B-94 but his hires and imaging made sure it would not be successful. He was not liked by the people who worked for him and he is one of the main reasons radio is dying in Pittsburgh.

No programming skills and fewer people skills. Had a very difficult time relating to anyone in the office on a personal level. Would often hide from his staff in his office unless he had to yell at someone.

If he had backed that up with superior programming skills that would be one thing. But that he was a completely contemptable person and terrible at his job made for an unsavory combination.

He also tried really strange things, and when they didn't work, would blame the jock.

"Garnet" when did you work for Keith? What do you mean he'd try things and blame the jocks? Are you referring to strategies then blame the jock for not properly executing them?

Who cares? Who the hell is Keith Clark anyway? Never heard of him.

The guy is a jerk. He has 9 lives. He is one of those inept managers who work their way to the top, impressing higher-ups & downgrading "subordinates". He totally ruined B94, changed format twice, then was forced to bring it back. If he would have left well enough alone, B94 would still be on 93.7. I'm sure when CBS told him The Fan was their new format he probably threw a temper tantrum. Look at the airstaff, sure isn't a Keith Clark project, someone above him quit listening to his whims. Good riddance. Too bad for whomever he ends up with next.
