NPR appoints Keith Woods, currently VP/Newsroom Training and Diversity, to the newly-created post of Chief Diversity Officer. As a part of the executive leadership team, He'll will guide NPR's push to expand the diversity of its audience work across NPR. Woods will continue as head of the editorial training unit, as well as leading key diversity initiatives in the newsroom with Senior VP Nancy Barnes, advise and support Programming & Audience Development Senior VP Anya Grundmann in her diversity efforts, and build on the collaborative work he's done with Chief Human Resources Officer Carrie Storer.
