KEJC-FM The Ranch: Question?

Why is the billboard for KEJC-FM The Ranch next to the freeway near Kansas Ave. still there and lite up at night? Bustos Media changed the format at least a year ago! Is the ranch on an HD-2 channel?

I don't know why the billboard is still up? The Ranch has been dead for over 4 years now. They changed to Spanish in January of 2004. And Bustos wasn't the one to change its format. Ed Cardoza sold KEJC to AZTEC MEDIA, owner of KTTA in the Sacramento area. Aztec flipped the format to Regional Mexican but essentially just simulcast KTTA at that time. don't know about now? Later in 2004, Aztec changed the calls of KEJC to KBBU. A few years later (don't know when?), Aztec sold their stations (KTTA and KBBU) to Bustos. And to my knowledge, KBBU doesn't have HD yet? Must be an old billboard? Hope this info helps?
 
It goes to show just how lethargic the market is!
 
Well someone is taking good care of this 4 year old billboard because it is very very clean and brightly lite up very nicely all night long.
