Kelly's gone, so when does McNamara start?

Heard Joe Kelly give his goodbyes on Thurs night's (Fri AM's) show, so will the Midnight Trucking Show go solo or with a fill-in for a while, or when's the change going to take place?

Im hoping before emmis communications buys them, seeing Dizney wants out of the radio business and they're the only suitor so far. Then MAYBE we'll get Jeff Ward syndicated into this market.

Former UT player from the 80's, who also host a weekday talk show on 590 KLBJ out of austin. Great show without all the rightwing shineola from the "Mark Davis/Rush/Hannity" crowd.

I've seen plenty of rumors about Sirius possibly bidding for ABC Radio. Hopefully they mean the satellite division and not the terrestrial stations.

IMHO Sirius buying ABC's terrestrial stations would be VERY bad. Imagine the cost savings they could realize by firing all the jocks and simulcasting the satellite formats on the ground, teasing the satellite as "all this with no commercials."

Jeff did some fill in work here in Dallas back about 10 years ago at KTCK the TICKET-- was very good on sports-- has opinions that are not always main stream-- and it makes you think-- and just an all around nice guy--- And aside from that-- not a bad ball player out of Texas-- just didn't make it in the pros!

Didn't know that he left KASE in Austin to go to KLBJ AM-- not sure when that occured-- but glad to hear that he is still around and on the air!

Just a thought!

I was hoping it was Ed Wallace's Jeff Ward. Now that might be entertaining.

Re: 6-9pm show

Anyone know who will fill this slot? I hope it's not David Gold. Any leading contenders?
