Kelsey Grammer's Show " Boss" Cancelled.

I tried watching the first episode and it was so boring I never continued with the series. Starz should stick to movies.

Isn't that the second time in 3 years that a show with Kelsey Grammer has been cancelled? I can also remember the short lived "Hank" (2009) on ABC.

Add in his 2007 Fox sitcom Back to You, and that makes him 0-for-3 since his Fraiser days ended.

In defense Back to You was doing well but the series was basically killed by the Writers' strike. From what I recall, Hank was critically panned and cancelled after five airings with five more shows left in the can. At least Boss got mostly positive reviews for Grammer playing against type, and he got two seasons and an award out of it.

I watched it at the beginning and then it veered to a bad place.

The show had potential but lost its balance quickly.

Starz jumped the gun in renewing the 2nd season or it wouldn't have made it beyond the 1st.

Poor Kelsey. Now he'll have to stay at home and cry over the giant pile of money he made from Cheers and Frazier.

I actually enjoyed the first season of this show. Didn't see the second season because I couldn't justify the cost of Starz for watching just one show. Maybe they'll can "Magic City" as well.

Just another reason why Showtime and Starz should merge. Showtime has the original series, Starz has the A- and B-grade movies. Add them both together, and you've got a service that could really challenge HBO's premium supremacy.

I quit watching Cheers when he came aboard and never watched Frazier - both for the same reasons.

Wasn't Kelsey also doing the voice for a short lived animated series between doing Back to You and Hank.
