Hi kirkiefan! I actually auditioned for American Idol in the fall, but it didn't work out this time. I still have a while to keep trying though!

Kelsie:
Keep trying...hope you'll get there.

Hope you make a successful go of it for the next time you audition!

Been listening to your audioclips on the Audio Sensations site. Met Gene and Robbie at WRPO on a Saturday morning back in March and they aired one of your recent songs.

You're voice is very pure and sounds as if you can easily sing other genres including soft pop and ballads(Celine,Mariah,Shania,ON-J etc)as well as classic country.

One song comes to mind: the Motown-ish "Paper Tiger" with a bluesy Charlie McCoy styled harmonica backup sung in the mid 1960s by Sue Thompson who also scored another huge hit "Norman" in the early 60s...I remember that song when I was a little kid on the farm. Thompson was a country/pop crossover back then.

Godspeed Kel...go get 'em kid!
