Ken Barlow: A Hairpiece or not ?

I like Ken Barlow and think he is a valuable addition to CBS 4 in Boston but wonder if he is wearing a hairpiece.

There is a definitive line about one inch behind each ear which seems of a different length than the rest which is a usual tell tale line.

Maybe he will eventually do what Harvey Leonard did.

Either way it won't affect his credibility as an excellent meteorologist.

How dare you post such a nasty question? Whether or not someone's hair is a real or not is NONE of anyone's concern! It's a piece of personal business.

Why, are you wearing a hairpiece Paul?

What is "nasty" about the question?

It is a bit distracting to see that either he has a very bad haircut or that the line between his real hair and that of the hairpiece is very noticeable.

Television, if you were not aware is a VISUAL Medium. Remember the Marshall MacLlewan phrase "The medium is the message"? Unfortunately, that is the case here.

Again, this has nothing to do with Ken Barlow's very professional presentations. I hope Channel 4 keeps him as long as they kept Don Kent...who had thinning hair [ know anyone with fat hair? know some fat heads... ;) ]

Sorry, but I am not follically challenged. Good genes on that account, Pal

I assume you're not talking about the legandary Vox/Dynacom programming chief Ken Barlow from NH and Vermont?

I believe he is a New Hampshire native but a weatherman.

Chief Meteorologist Ken Barlow, the replacement to Bruce Schwegler at WBZ TV 4 (CBS 4) was formerly the Weatherman at KARE 11 (NBC) in Minneapolis-ST. Paul Minnesota.

The origin of his hair has not yet been determined...

My bet is on China ;)

Whatever, Ken Barlow is an excellent meteorologist and Ch.4 is lucky to have him. Kinda sorry I brought up the question. It has nothing to do with his credibility.

I would like to make a correction. It is actually Ed Carroll, who replaced Bruce.

Anyone know where Ed Carroll is now?
Heard many rumors but thought he was very good.
