Ken Lay's Last Words

I swear I am not making this up.

Rev. William A. Lawson, pastor emeritus of Houston's Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church pastor who will officiate at Lay's funeral said, ``I plan to tell them this is not the first time somebody good has been falsely accused and even crucified,'' Lawson said today in an interview before leaving for Aspen.

``Just like Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy, my hope is that people will view Ken Lay in a much more positive light after his death. Even though people say he's a robber and a crook and that it's a good thing he's dead, we have the right to tell his family we've seen this (vilification) before, and history can be kind.'' Therefore, Ken Lay is like Jesus, MLK and JFK. I seem to remember JC washing the poor's feet, not stealing their pension. MLK freed his people, Lay did too; he freed them of their retirement and jobs. JFK dared us to think big, Lay dared his cronies to steal big. Rev. William A Lawson, you sir are the douchbag of 2006.

"I was still a better CEO than John Hogan."

Not fair, John Hogan has only knocked $35 off his company's stock price.
