Ken Levine Back To Seattle?

The Mariners announced that a rotating team of five play-by-play broadcasters will replace the late Dave Niehaus, at least for next season. One of the people named in the rotation is Ken Levine, who hosts the Dodgers postgame show on KABC. Levine was Niehaus' booth mate for the Mariners' 1992 season.

Could this spark some sort of a conflict of interest with the Dodgers and KABC?

Wow!

Who is the poor color guy who has to work with FIVE separate play-by-play guys on a rotating basis? That man needs a hardship bonus and the season hasn't even begun yet.

Those poor guys are Dave Sims and Rick Rizzs.

Only a horse-bleep organization like The Mariners could have made such a crazy decision.

Had to be a money thing...

All five guys worked with Niehaus. It's a chance to have an ongoing show of respect for and connection with Dave, and gives the team a chance to give a lot of thought to the right permanent choice.
