Kenneke Antenna?

Has anyone tried the Kenneke Communications AM Antenna? If so, what kind of results were you able to achieve? I have a Gizmo transmitter, and purchased their matching antenna, and even with the Antenna, and a good ground could never get any type of range. Ideally, I'd like to be able to get out about a mile or so on a car stereo. Any suggestions for a simple, or prebuilt antenna that can help me achieve my desired range would be appreciated.

I ordered an FM antenna...it came busted...the guy was slow returning my e-mails...and reluctant to refund my money. Eventually, I got a "partial" refund. I'll never do business with him again.

If it has an internal coil, can it be disconnected?......I'm not looking for you to major surgury with it, but I want to see if I can hook you up with a workable antenna for it......the sstrans work best (metzo too, but like I said you need to look at your unit closely) with my antenna and coil and we see a mile easily....more often than not it is much more than that.........In the past there were similarities between the gizmo and metzo so in order for me to tell, I need you to give me more details.<P ID="signature">______________
