Kenny Bozak

Out at REC. I heard he's going to Dallas to paint Mark Davis' house.

If you're going to take a cheap shot at somebody, the least you could do is spell their name right.

Kenny's last name is spelled "Bosak".

Now... go crawl back into your hole.

Bosak is a Memphis mainstay. He will probably stay in town. Great knowledge of Memphis music. Just because the cheap suits at clear channel doesn't understand or apprieciate his value, really means nothing. Consider the source.

Kenny's done a number of music formats plus talk, and done them well for longer than some of you have been alive. Dumb move by CC.

jharmon and radiosaur...

I obviously agree with your nice sentiments regarding Kenny, but just to set the record straight... Kenny was not fired from WREC; he resigned. And... it was not one of those resign or be fired situations - in fact - station management was disappointed in his decision to resign.

Sometimes people just feel it is time to move on. That was and is the situation here.

Ahhh. Then I retract only the last sentence of my post, and wish Kenny well. Thanks for the info.

Since the events are so peculiar to the operating model of CC, and so unlike them, I too stand corrected on my assumptions about CC letting go of another talent.

Many happy returns to Bosak.

Given the events of today with "I wanna be like Rush" and Debbie Hall, Kenny might have ran out of the barn just before it caught on fire.

It's really strange how people speculate on what happened. Kenny did his job and did it well. But he also gets bored easily. His job history confirms that. he's talented and smart. The only criticism I have of Kenny is that he feels inferior to Mark Davis. The difference between the two is Davis being in the right place at the right time and Kenny being in Memphis.
