I could fill paragraphs about the man, but bottom line, he was the luckiest, smartest, toughest and kindest man I ever encountered in the broadcast industry. We will not see the likes of him this way again.
regarding the above post about Dan Cook.
I was searching for an obit for my friend Aubrey Cook when I found the obit for Dan Cook...
But no one in San Antonio has heard anything about Dan Cook passing... which leads me to believe someone was preparing something JUST IN CASE, and made it available to search. It wasn't posted on the website. Egg on my face. This just in: DAN COOK IS NOT DEAD as far as we know.
