So I happened to flip onto Channel 5 when Kent Dana was doing a report about the change in the Valley over the years, how it's affected people. I was kinda surprised and very impressed with reporter Kent Dana. I've only had the chance to seem him be the big dog over at CBS 5, I mean I know he's done a few interviews here and there, but this was really cool to seem him out and about town. He seemed to enjoy the report, sounded very pleasant and just overall very happy being a reporter. Really cool for a transplant to get to see a newer side of Kent Dana. Very enjoyable.

I had read a while back on the Examiner website, that Kent Dana was working on a very special project for CBS 5, maybe this is it. I don't know if had one last night or not. Will be interesting to see the big send off for Kent Dana on Friday night. What they will do, if the other stations will report on it?

I know this isn't some inside info like so many of you have or some big breaking story, I just actually enjoyed seeing Kent Dana toss it back to Catherine, lol

This is the kinda thing I could see him doing after his contract ends, maybe be a freelance reporter for a station and just report on historical happenings in the Valley, just taking a look back at the history, maybe he will show up over at Arizona Stories on KAET, who knows?

Something I'd really enjoy seeing is really good in depth interview with Kent Dana, I've read a few of the articles he has been covered in, but would love to see a good in depth interview, cough Pat McMahon cough, if you or your staffers are listening.

Oh well, I do wanna wish Kent Dana the best of like, I may have been a bit critical but I do wanna wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
 
I'd love to see Kent have a weekly show, titled "Arizona People" or something like that. It could be similar to Arizona Highways, but focus on interesting Arizonans, rather than interesting Arizona towns.
 
Perhaps he could reprise the interview he had with Da Sheriff, where Da Sheriff cooked dinner. He could call it: "Cooking with Da Sherrif." Green bologna, anyone? ;->
