Kent State 1970 Radio Coverage?

Anyone here old enough to have heard the actual radio coverage of the Kent State killings back in the war protest days?
( National Guard opened fire on war protestors in May of 1970 on KSU campus. )

Would be curious to know how that sounded back in the day. What was said, what was the tone etc.

Thanks in advance.

The Kent State archives have recordings of both WAKR and WHLO. They are available for public listening upon request. Copies for a small charge.

Thanks. I am assuming you were not listening back in 1970?
