Kent Walls passing

Longtime dj in the Terre Haute market Kent Walls passed away yesterday to lung cancer. Kent worked at WBDJ Brazil, WBOW and WTHI in Terre Haute and WACF in Paris to name a few. His obiturary should be in Thursday's Terre Haute Tribune-Star.
 
I worked part-time at WBOW while Kent was there doing sports and sometimes afternoons. I didn't know him well, beyond saying hi in the hallway, but it was clear that he loved the business.
 
I had a chance to work with Kent at Bebops nightclub in Terre Haute back in the mid-90's! He was always real positive, and fun to be around. I was sad to hear of his passing.
 
Kent's revised obit has appeared in todays Trib-Star with service times and location. Memorial services Saturday 1p.m. with visitation from 11am to service time at the Riley United Methodist Church in Riley, IN.
