KENWOOD'S still a playa... 2 new radios at Dayton 2010

Seems there will be a couple of new Kenwood radios - showing first at the Dayton Hamvention this weekend... I saw an item about this on qrz which had a link in the related discussion to a photo posting from a Japan Ham show from 2009 with a "concept" Kenwood radio... might be the TS-590s (proposed name, according to a Kenwood press release) ... or not.

Glad to see Kenwood is still in action - All I hear about these days is Yaesu, Icom (and sometimes Elecraft or Alinco) but rarely Kenwood - weird since K'wood was so popular in the '70's and '80's, at least based on how many rigs you see from that period in shack photos here & there on the web...

i used to have a kenwood TS-790A 2-440 all mode, TS-950SDX and a TS-690 all great rigs IMO to bad i had to sale it all when the economy went belly up.
