Robert, you didn't even tell us about this?? You may have been afraid we'd all show up and b!tch-slap Dr. Griffin until he changed the format to all-80s. :eek:

11AM-2PM at the KEOM parking lot, Motley and Town East Blvd. Free t-shirts, from what I understand, and hopefully Mr. Bass will be on duty to autograph them! (Or perhaps I can trade in my old giveaways for newer and better stuff...that includes my KEOM Chip Clip, refrigerator magnets, bumper stickers [2 styles, including electrostatic,] coffee cup, pens and key chain.)

Yeah I am afraid too many stalkers would come out to hunt me down. ;D

Actually I have kept it under wraps because we aren't totally sure the event is a go, since Mother Nature wants to lash out the metroplex tonight and tomorrow. Dr. G. informed me yesterday that if the weather doesn't co-op, the event will have to be cancled. :'(

Had it not been for the questionable weather, I'm pretty sure we'd have plugged it much more. :)

We'll see what happens.

Oh and by the way... I don't think b-slapping Dr. G. will work. ;D His idea of the right time to evolve is when the 25 - 34 demo numbers decline. That's too little too late, in my book.

I have a feeling the real reason is because all those T-Shirts have a reference to the 70's format. I guess he doesn't even want to think about a format evolvement until several years after the last KEOM shirt has been given away. But I suspect he'll retire before that happens...
