Yay! They just played Irene Cara's song Fame, from 1980!!! It's about time! :)
 
Perhaps it's a 'send-off' song to Dr G..."remember my name," "I'm gonna live forever," and "I'm gonna learn how to fly" (presumably at nearby Hudson Field.)

I think "Seasons in the Sun" would be more appropriate. ;D
 
Hmmm... A quick check at yes.com shows they've also been playing Upside Down and Heart Hotels, and quite a few others from 1980 as well.

Whatever the case, I hope they keep it up! 8)
