There were a couple of items on the Observer's blog last week on KESN...
(1) Michael Irvin's 18 month contract with KESN expires this month. Given the recent trends (http://sportsmediablog.dallasnews.com/archives/2009/05/radio-daze-april-sports-talk-r.html) and the current interest in reducing costs all the radio operators seem to be in, will KESN go for extending him?
(2) Apparently Hansen may end the 6PM show he sometimes hosts...

On the plus side, KESN and KTCK tied for the 5PM hour in those most recent numbers.
