KETK should just give up on doing weather

There were more tornadic thunderstorms in east Texas Sunday evening. KLTV went wall to wall again, even 19 had a couple of John Adams sightings....but KETK was in regular programming and even ran a promo about their "powerful doppler radar" at 6:25....while Gregg and Upshur counties were under tornado warnings!!! At 6:55, they ran a crawl stating the "tornado would be near New Diana by 6:30pm"....I'm not making this up

KETK is still doing weather? I hadn't noticed. I thought that the last time that KETK's weather cast was relevant was when Scott Chesner dropped an F-bomb on air during a tornado warning. Do a google search for NBC 56 Weather Blooper, and you will see the quality product that KETK is putting out.

Sad thing is that KETK used to really be something, but their video, audio, and all around quality is terrible! The set was fine for NTSC analog tv but looks absurd for HD digital.

The Weather problems are just the beginning. The engineers there couldnt fix a broken door hinge! Let alone build a decent TV station!

All the problems go back to the GM ! Maybe hes making it really really REALLY crappy so Phil Hurly can buy it back extremely cheap and put it on the second floor at the CBS 19 building.
