KETK TO UNDERGO MAJOR WEATHER UPGRADE?

Just so they keep Scott around long enough that he gets to wear his Harold Taft Christmas vest on the air. ;)

Ahhh...nothing like the CHRISTmas holiday season to stir those nostalgic feeling.

I miss Harold....

It looks as if KETK is beginning to debut the changes......as the new Doppler56 SkyWatch with new technology, along with new graphics for "East Texas Live", which I expect will be on all the newscasts by day's end.

It made it on the 10 o'clock news. They look pretty good. I think they may have improved Scott Chesner's lighting too. It is still not great, but a lot better than it was when he first came on board.

I also noticed that they actually ran news at the 7:55 AM break in the Today Show. It certainly beat five minutes of commercials.

Saw the 10PM package last night. Have to say I'm impressed.

Although, I'm wondering if the "big-city" feel is going to draw or drive away viewers.
