Has anyone heard the scoop for the tweaking that keeps going on at KROQ? First the K&B show move their "what it do" seg back to the opening break and now they are taping the final hour of the show to air at 5pm. Is the PPM that unkind to KROQ in the afternoons that they need to try this idea out? Or is this an early stunt to get their listeners ready for Acoustic X-mas? ???
 
Kevin and Bean have been much better than the music on the station for quite some time now. Perhaps this is the station's way of acknowledging as much?
 
And what's become of "Jeddum Fishum"? According to R&R, the line up will be K&B 5:30-9 am, Kat Corbett 9-1, Sluggo 1-5, K&B 5-6, Nicole Alvarez 6-10, followed by Loveline.
 
In a day and age where the suits are cutting airstaff, VTing breaks in under 15 seconds, and getting away from jocks altogether...these guys are going with more talk?!!

What happened to Mr Fish... buyout maybe, that is to say likely forced retirement. Or perhaps he was presented with a paycut?

It's really a consistently very good show, and that explains why it is #1 18-49 in LA, reaching around 700 thousand peeps each week.
 
To each his own. I prefer to start my day with the subtle humor and amazing music on KUSC. Leave the celebrity gossip, tawdry humor, and dumb sex jokes to the masses.

Plus Linkin Park is for 14 year olds.

If not being interested in fart jokes, jokes about the size of people's dongs, and the latest on Britney Spears' rehab makes me a snob......guilty as charged. ;)
