Kevin Cleary has passed

For those of you that knew him or knew of him, I thought I'd pass along the sad news that Kevin Cleary passed away Friday. People might remember him as "Kevin the Afternoon Guy" at WMRQ and WCCC, and later Kevin the Part-Time Guy.

He was a great talent with a hell of a voice and a wonderful guy. He'll be missed greatly.
 
It appears his death was sudden and unexpected. I listened to the tributes on WCCC yesterday by Mike Karolyi and Stephen Wayne - they were very somber and appropriate including remembrances of Kevin, a moment of silence, and some of his favorite songs.
