“The Simpsons” writer Kevin Curran has died at the age of 59.

“Simpsons” showrunner Al Jean shared the news on Twitter Tuesday.

“V v sad at the passing of Kevin Curran brilliantly funny and true friend,” Jean said.

Before “The Simpsons,” Curran wrote for “Married… With Children” and also voiced Buck the dog, the Bundy family pet.
