This is a posting I never thought I would do. Kevin's wife Debbie called me on Thursday morning to tell me that Kevin had died. He was fishing and she thinks he had a heart attack. This is a very sad day.

Kevin was a very affable guy. He had one of those amazing laughs. We had many a great conversation! I was at WOBM-FM with Matt Devoti when Kevin was at WOBM-AM. He was hired to be the morning man of their country format. Kevin, Matt and I had lunch often and had a bet who would get to a big radio market first. Matt won! lol Kevin followed and worked at Q104 in NYC for about 8 years!! He loved that job and the overnight listeners!

I still can't beleive it. He was only 48. I miss him. I miss talking to my friend about anything and everything! Debbie said there will not be a public service. She is having a private, family only, service. Kevin rest in peace and enjoy the fishing in heaven! I hear they've got some great big ones in God's ocean!!!

I didn't know Kevin, but I clearly remember hearing him doing overnights at Q104.3. He's enthusiasm for the job and the music couldn't be missed. 48 is way too young to go...my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
