I just heard Kevin call into Spike's show on WGN and he announced to Spike that he was diagnosed last week
with MS. I was very sad to hear this. As a bid fan of Kev's I want to wish him the best of luck.

Kevin said he will post more information about this on his website later this morning.

My niece has MS and while it is not the kind of news anyone would want to hear, there are currently some great ways to manage it. Depending on what kind of MS Kevin has, he could potentially ride it out for a long time. I am very hopeful for him that it's the more benign form.
BTW, the incidence of MS is lower in sunnier climates...not making any comment, just a note...
