My partner in crime during the '80s in Calgary passed away Tuesday in Ottawa. Anyone who knew Kevin will agree, we lost a special person. My best friend for all these years. RIP Kev.

Sorry to hear of your loss, Cal. When Kevin made the move from Calgary to Ottawa, his was the first voice to be heard on Majic 100. I liked Majic, back in the day, so I was very familiar with Kevin's contribution to the Ottawa air waves. I'll miss hearing him, but my condolences go out to his family and friends, those who knew Kevin from beyond the microphone, who will surely miss him, even more so.

I knew the name was familiar when I moved to Ottawa. He left Calgary the same time I did, but I can't remember what station he was at. I know it wasn't AM 106, 66 CFR or 1140 the Fox. I want to say it may have been FM 96 or CJAY which I didn't really listen to.

The news is too sad. I guess it runs in the family. His father, "Jungle Jay" passed away in his early 50's as well. Waaaaay too soon for both of them!!!
