I heard that Kevin Palan will be returning to Fun 107 soon. he used to be the old Night DJ many years back and I think recently he was the PD over at Q105 in CT. im not to sure if he will be full time or weekends or fill in or what. but i heard one of the DJ's sayin the other day that somone was going in for heart surgery so. maybe thats why he is back?

I know he'll be doing J-Rod's shifts while he is out for his heart surgery - but I'm not sure if he'll be doing anything else for the station.

What a mess. Ever since Citadel bought ABC, they've become the radio company with the most debt outstanding. Looking at their balance sheets just boggles the mind. It's not shocking that they're starting to hand out pink slips. I don't know how they're going to dig out of that massive whole they created. Eventually Citadel/Providence will start seeing the effects of this. Clear Channel is selling radio stations... that should have been a pretty clear indication that now is not the time to buy radio stations... let alone taking on unbelievable amounts of debt to do it. ABC looked like a genius in that deal. Why would ANYONE buy an ownership group now?

People in broadcasting full-time need a plan B now more than ever.

Hopefully Shawn lands on his feet. He was a cool guy to work with... and a lot lighter now!
