Kevin Palana has also just been hired by 98.1 WCTK. He will be doing weekends/swing work.

At this point WCTK may be one of the few places to be without worrying about a visit from Scrooge McDownsize.

Oh of the few? Can't see anyone else downsizing, in fact, there are a few new voices over on the trail.

Did you see the last quarterly financial report for Citadel? Much of the Red Ink for the company was attributed to the Providence Market. With the new (nearly million dollar) payroll now at Pro Am, you can bet it won't be long before the voicetrack demons will be landing on the Trail. The future of live radio is bleak unfortunately. Some posters I'm sure actually remember when DJ's picked their own music. Of course that was long before those new fangled fax machines.

Pick your own music? Next you'll be spinning old wives' tales about hot clocks, carts, & those round black objects with colored sticky dots on the labels. I was at a yard sale recently & a couple was looking through boxes of LPs. Their daughter who had to be about 10 years old took one out of the sleeve & asked "what do you do with it?"

But back to WCTK, I don't know about Domenic but they're the official Bill Engvall "Here's Your Sign" Christmas station.
