Kevin Steele

You long time Star 94 listiners will remember Kevin Steele who use to do mid-days on Star 94 from 1993-2003. He is now PD and afternoon guy at Magic 1021fm in Athens,GA. He had been until recently working weekends on Kicks 101.5,but said he was leaving because he was moving his family to Athens to be closser to his job during the week and spend more time with his family.

Kevin is also PD at Bulldog 103.7 and one of the greatest guys on and off the radio. His Magic station would kick ass in Atlanta. I hope Cox sees what they have in him when they take over and take good care of him.

Yeah he is also PD at Bulldog 103.7,in fact Tim Rhodes formerly of 96 Rock is now doing afternoons on there. The only problem with Magic and Bulldog is their signals outside of Athens is marginal. Kevin Steele is deffinatley a nice guy,he's one of a few PD willing to give someone who doesn't have any or limited experince in radio a chance.

Magic comes in strong... Bulldog not so much but they are working on that. Now if you live in Jefferson??? Comes in like a 100,000 watt station! I, by the way, am doing Magic on Sunday nights as well. I OWN Sunday nights from 8-12am. ;D

Kevin is a great guy. However, him being in Athens is nothing new. He has been there for over 2 years.

Never too late to show some love for one of the good guys in radio.

trhodes the signal for Magic does come in good outside of Athens if the weather is good. Still struggling to pick up Bulldog. Kevin has been in Athens for awhile, but he was living in Snellville, but I gues he decided to move a little closser to work. With the price of gas I can't blame him.

The biggest problem for Bulldog is you can't even pick it up in Athens that well......... yet... ;)
