The top of the hour ID (vocoder/sonovox style) was a minute after the hour. Not sure if that was on purpose or maybe there is a buffer delay from the programming coming out of Seattle?
Thank you!I'll keep this live stream up for a bit for those who partake:

The loop I recorded after cutting the overlapping parts (made sure to align at the sample level for an accurate cut) was around 2 hours and 2 seconds, and I think the TOH ID was closer to the TOH that day. It might slowly be drifting as the loop continues or my laptop sound card is sampling very slightly too fast (and thus playback is very slightly too slow) and I’m making an incorrect assumption. The top of the hour ID (vocoder/sonovox style) was a minute after the hour.
The whole loop feels like a two-hour tribute to "Time Zones".The nod to Negativland is just icing on top of the cake!
Did you record the past few hours? They just ended the loop (fading out quietly at 5:57am) [removing redundancy from @JamieA]. First song with the KEXP-FM/KEXC ID (?) was "California Love" by Tupac.I recorded about 6 hours tonight and confirm it's a 2 hour loop. At least on Sunday afternoon/evening it was.
I'm assuming the callsign has now changed to KEXC? Good choice with the first song selection. The next 24 hours is all Bay Area music.
Very classy way to acknowledge KJAZ's history by playing Miles Davis - Springville to lead off the simulcast.![]()
