KEZK

Jim Doyle was the afternoon host and he was really good! I too would like any info on what the deal is at KEZK if anyone is willing to speak up! Its a shame if theyre shaking things up if they dont have too.

I believe I read Jim landed on one of the CC stations in STL. Can't think which one. Mike Anderson's site probably has it. You raise a good question though. Apparently they replaced the mid day talent with a lady from the morning show. That could very well be an economic move. Might be with Doyle as well. Been there for like 15 years, probably making more than they want to pay. Hire another person cheaper. I don't agree with it, but it has all the earmarks of either rampant stupidity or economic adjustments.

Cool...thanks for the Mike Anderson site suggestion! I stumbled onto an article with an interview with Doyle and yup..."rampant stupidity" in the form of another stupid knee jerk PPM reaction. I though KEZK was holding strong in both the diary and the PPMs..right?? I'll never understand radio management mentality! I couldnt find if he's landed another full time gig though but he says he's doing alot of voicework plus his wife has what looks to be a great job (almost a requirement for fulltime radio people nowadays). Just a shame though, great jock who fit in perfectly with the format and the audience!
