KFAB on PSA?

Apparently this is the week for snagging stations that aren't supposed to be there....

This morning around 1am CDT , KFAB was in with a listenable signal on 1110. Same thing about an hour before local sunrise (here). KFAB has always been common around here around sunrise and sunset. But very weak, if not missing altogether at night. Does anyone know what might be going on?

Also, and on a much smaller scale. At about the same time as I first heard KFAB, WSQR, Sycamore, IL was on top of 1180 with WHAM and Cuba in the background. They're only supposed to be running one watt at night. (Day power is 900 watts). Sycamore is about 23 miles southwest of my location. This isn't the first time WSQR has "forgotten" to power down....probably much to the chagrin of Larry Nelson, who owns the place.

Anyway, unless these are isolated incidents, here might be a couple of new log opportunities for a few of you!

On PSA? KFAB is 50kw day and night I'm not sure they have pre sunrise or post sunset power.. its just straight up 50kw.

No special temporary authority for lower then licensed power.

Update....

8:30pm CDT. On 1110, KFAB was in with a fair signal, Getting squeezed a little by WTAM and a lot by KMOX. But normally KFAB is missing during hours of darkness. Meanwhile, as for the smaller drama on 1180, WHAM and WSQR both present with WHAM getting the better of it. Its impossible to null one without nulling the other, but with both of them nulled, the R. Rebelde chorus was present with a weak signal.

Radio this time was the Superadio-II.
