I've been picking up KFAB 1110 here in Mississippi for the last several weeks. Has something changed or is it just my radio? I don't recall hearing much on 1110 but noise down here over the years and sometimes WBT in North Carolina but that is only when they change the pattern during a hurricane. KFAB comes in quite good on certain nights.
 
KFAB is replacing a tower on their directional array, so they are at 5K non-directional at night.
So instead of being restricted to the East, there's a good chance they are bouncing around the atmosphere.
