What's up with the lousy re-branding and when did it happen? Is this just a way to make it easier for the hosts to refer to the station(s)? That's the only reason I could possible think of as to why they did this.

IMO, they are just trying to take attention away from the simulcast. Why newsradio? Why not just "news/talk"? Orrrr why not just call letters? 8)

Didn't I see a KFBK reporter on a Sac news station? I think his name is Rob McAllister. He worked at local KNCO, then KFBK, and now doing TV sports. I can't remember the station. Was it KXTV?

I've heard they're automated on both KFBK and KSTE when not live. :![]()

The RDS still says Newstalk 92.5 and 1530 KFBK. So which is it Clear Channel? Newradio or Newstalk? LOL...bunch of ding dongs running the show.

I'm not sure they know? Who's running the show at BK since Eisenson departed?

Ken Charles, transplanted from the Miami cluster. It's unlikely he'll make the necessary changes to fix this mess. KFBK sounds old and tired, and is living on the fumes of its legacy, and so they still bill well, but it's hardly a competitive news operation anymore. The public radio station in town has a far better team of reporters.
