KFCD Auction (Shtick Free, Please)?

Let's try again, this time without the comedy. Does anyone know what happened at the KFCD auction yesterday (ie. who bought the station and what format will it switch to once Fox Sports moves to 1460)?

No, but it is public record if you are interested.

Shtick Free?

Shtick Free? Is that the new razor with 4 blades? One that gently lifts the hairs, another to cut them, the 3rd to post on radio-info, and the 4th blade to blast what the 3rd blade posted?<P ID="signature">______________

Where were the former 990 employees?

Rather than be silly on such a serious topic, why doesn't someone answer the question?

I could have sworn I read some comments on here about former employees wanting to go to the auction to see who got what. It seems no one did.

Now someone says "it's public record." Okay. Where exactly will we find this public record and when will it be available?

Thank You.

From lessons learned in past experinces, the records, though public, may not be recorded and available to the public for days or weeks. And one has to generally go the courthouse and pay a nominal fee.

I have to agree--- if someone has that information about it being public record... please let us know where you can find it-- there are plenty of people that are interested that were not former employees-- some of us just are curious to know the outcome.

There are times when being silly is great and we all need the laugh (lord knows I am one that enjoys playing on here) but there are times when it comes down to it that we might need a serious question answered with a serious tone-- so we will respect it... and move forward..

Just a thought!

All bankruptcy proceedings are handled at the federal level.

The records are housed at the Bankruptcy Court in the federal courthouse at 1100 Commerce Street in downtown Dallas.

The phone number for general information is 214-753-2000.

Online information is available at www.uscourts.gov/

Then click "U.S. Bankruptcy Courts"

Some court records on the local, state and federal level are now available electronically.

However, you will have to inquire about this specific case.

Again, call the bankruptcy court at 214-753-2000 for information.

Re: Where were the former 990 employees?

Shouldn't it be mailed out to those of us that involved in the suit? I've gotten court filing updates everytime an attorny had a thought, I would think that the same would apply here?

I tell you what, if no one knows and I get something in the mail, I'll go through the trouble to retype the letter and post it. I sure hell would like to know!
