KFI / Bill Handel on vacation

I'm rather shocked that KFI is running a "best of" of Bill Handel from 5-6 a.m. It is soooooooo tacky and so badly done.

Does anyone know their reasoning why they can't bring in a sub that does the whole show? It sounds really choppy with the swooshes and the canned "This is the Bill Handel Show, I'm Bill Handel."

If I'd be an advertiser I'd want a refund!

5 AM is sold as drive time in LA. There are as many cars on the road at that hour as there are at 1 PM, if I remember the stats right.

Hello David, Radio should start drive time in LA and San Francisco and many other major markets at 3AM thats when the commute really starts!

Btw- Nothing frosts me quicker that to tune in my favorite talk show and hear a best-of during the week especially if there is major breaking news going on!
If a station can't get a live person to fill in the station should just go off the air because I and I would guess many others go elsewhere! Best of shows are just a waste of time. I never listen to them at all.

Really, drive time is about 4 AM to 9 PM.
