KFI TOH CHANGES

Has anyone noticed that KFI's "top of the hour" newscast is now back to :00 rather than being two minutes before the hour? I think they instituted the change about a week ago. I wonder what the thought was behind this change.

As an avid listener, I always thought the :58 TOH was a bit weird. I'd tune in to get traffic, or just hear the latest cooky catchphrase Chris Corley has cooked up .... only to find Aron Bender nearly finished with the news and back to Timmy Time.

Having it at :00 means I can actually hear the news.

Could Robin have set it to :58 because she thought talk hosts would tend to go overtime?

I doubt it. There are things called "hard outs" for those situations.
