KFJZ/Fort Worth Sold

Any ideas what they'll do with it? A quick google of Pacific Star Media didn't turn up anything useful.

The MOR/Standards days of KJIM on this frequency sure seem like a long time ago, back when it was just 250 watts.

I read somewhere, possibly AllAccess, that PacificStar owned a brokered Spanish-language religion format on a station in Atlanta. I would guess more of the same is in store for KFJZ.

Or maybe more Desi Radio for the Metroplex: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WPBS_(AM)

It is also a good example of the true worth of an underperfoming AM signal in DFW...
There are actually several of these AM signals for sale in the area but the prices are over-inflated.
If and when the price comes down to a reasonable figure some of them might actually land in the hands of someone willing to try to make something out of them. ( 1190 and 1140 )
