KFMK continues to drop

In the DFW area, KLTY (Salem's Contemporary Christian outlet) regularly places in the top 10 (12+). As of the last PPM report, they were #5 in the market. Then again, the DFW area is much more tolerant of Christianity than Austin is.

DFW is more tolerant of Christianity than Austin? Perhaps you missed my earlier post on this thread theorizing that the reason Spirit is having problems in Austin is the large number of religious broadcasters Austin supports for a market this size:

English language stations
KFIT 1060
KFMK 105.9
KIXL 970
KLGO 98.5/99.3
"K-Love" Network 91.9/92.1/106.3
KNLE 88.1
KXPW-LP 106.7 Georgetown
Calvary translator 89.1 Austin
Houston Christian Broadcasters also operates Translators in Bastrop, Round Rock & San Marcos.

Spanish language:
KELG 1440
KFON 1490
"Keilah" translator 106.5

I sure did, Fred, and I don't disagree with you. My message was in reference to an earlier post in this thread in which the poster surmised there were "not enough Bible thumpers here".

That does look like a lot of stations, but there is a lot less overlap there than it first appears. Also, some of the stations cover only tiny portions of the area.

And for what it is worth, 1060 seems to be mostly spanish-language these days

I made the same point on Yelp.
I think they use employees to rate their reviews on Yelp.
Most of those reviews are from people who like the station.
The reviews didn't start until I updated my review on Yelp.
Coincidence?
