KFMK HD-2

KFMK HD-2 has been silent. Don't know whats up but it has been like that for a while. If it matters any.

What do you mean by royalty rates? If you're referring to royalties like what internet radio stations play, they don't pay royalties to the record companies and artists. I know there's an issue regarding SESAC/BMI royalties, but I don't know exactly what's going on there. There are also royalties to pay Ibiquity as HD Radio is proprietary, and you must buy a license from Ibiquity to run it.
 
I also notice KASE had their HD signal back up, but the HD-2 channel was doing the same thing. I guess I need to setup my analog radio again.
 
The current technology involved with "HD" Radio is pretty crappy and problematic. I think the Clear Channel engineers are jsut getting tired of messing with it.

The radios are neat they have good selectivity.
