"As for my comment on PPM's I stand by what I said neither format is tearing it up in PPM markets"

That sure looks like a quote from you, isn't it?

Again, care to site examples? You can stand by whatever you want, but what do you base it on?

I was merely stating your quote made it look like I said that entire paragraph and that was not my post my line was inserted in somebody else post.

And you seriously aren't going to say that Rock & Talk formats are doing as well under PPM as they were with Journals?

KIRO & KTTH would probably have somebody murdered if they could go back to the books they had just prior to the first PPM numbers... Granted it my be a more accurate representation of what people may be hearing but it is a lot easier to sell station that is #4 than trying to sell that same station mired down at #17...

Of course I am not a "Real" radio insider, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night...

Oh! BTW, 104.9 cannot be hear in the city limits of Seattle. I cannot picked up this station in downtown Seattle. It just barely reaches the Tacoma area.

You should get KFNK at least as far as South Everett before CFUN starts to shred the KFNK signal.....

Only in the car. Good luck on building penetration.

That's what SHE said!

I knew it would happen someday - Nirvana and Pearl Jam as 'oldies". Man, do I feel old!

Yes that is true... But unlike a lot of other artists Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, and Soundgarden have all managed to do new albums that have been well received and kept them current with not only their core, but a whole new generation of new fans...

There is a lot of good new Rock music out there I think people get comfy with the standards of their youth and they become less willing to expose themselves to something new... I play some classics but I like to go heavier with currents because the music is good, and it seems like everyone wants to tilt the field towards classic these days....
