Wow that set off alarms around here!

Bobby Bones had appeared on KBAY in its early days. I bet they'd love a clearance in market #5.
Conni has removed Bones on a few of their recently acquired stations. A friend of mine who's a PD for one of their other clusters mentioned there's some disagreements between them and Premiere, which was why AT40 was removed from their Hot AC.

Correct. They have designs of being the next Premiere. They just launched a new Top 20 Hot AC show with Compass.

They're not trying to be the new Premiere. iHeart owns Premiere. Connoisseur, just like Townsquare is just simply expanding partnerships to expand a couple existing shows that fill niches in the marketplace. If Connoisseur bought a syndicator or launched their own like Audacy did then you could say they want to be the next Premiere.

There were issues with Connoisseur and contracts inherited from Alpha. Some of those deals as well as ones with other content providers were unwound.

Correct. It's more of self syndication using Compass. Warshaw appears to be very close with the Compass people.

He is leveraging his stations and his size to his advantage. Who can blame him?

All I meant to say is for the first time they're entering that business. The comparison with Townsquare is a good one.

102.1's ratings and revenue are in the toilet. I think Audacy would consider a flip to Country if a void existed in the market.
My question is do you think that iHeart could consider a flip to Country for one of its stations if a void existed in this market?

Not impossible but probably unlikely. KOSF, their lowest billing FM in the Bay Area, nonetheless ranks in the top 10 of highest billing FM stations in the local market.

Plus iHeart tends to program their stations to favor buying the entire cluster to attract a specific demo. For example, their L.A. FMs are all tweaked to favor female listeners 25-49.
