KFOX To HD

Just heard the legal ID on Alexa. Looking at the K Bay website they just added 98.5fm so still promoting future K Love 94.5's signal as part of Bay Country but by Fall solely on 98.5 92.1 and the 99.7 HDd3

Bay Country is still broadcasting on 94.5 frequency. Kinda surprised. No loop like the 560 to 810 transition.

At least the website is updated.

With a new logo indicating that the format is not going away on 94.5 for the moment ... no "loop" anticipated:

Very likely, the switch to K-Love programming will be relatively abrupt, with some on-air mentions on the trimulcast beforehand ... but again,, no loop.

Whenever the sale of 94.5 KBAY closes
It depends upon what Connoisseur and K-Love negotiate for a handoff. In the case of KRTY, the morning team did a farewell program before the switch to K-Love at 9 am.

Tim Jeffreys goodbye post on facebook.

Today is my final show at 985 KFOX. It has been one a hell of a run-actually, 2 runs. From 2004 to 2012 and 2016 to today, almost 19 years in total. There is no way I could have accomplished this without help along the way, including Laurie Roberts giving me my first shot in 2004 and Brian Figula for bringing me back in 2016. I have been fortunate to work with some tremendously talented people including: Greg Kihn, Sloppy Joe, Dan Rusanowsky (Go Sharks!) Russ Reynolds, Laura Steele, Billy Vega, Big Rick, Karen Nakamura, Nancy Newcomer, Celeste Perry as well as the current staff-Morris Knight, Ilenna and Chris Jackson. While people come and go in this business Chris Jackson has always been there- from the first day KFOX signed on to today. Truly an amazing run! Of course, none of this would be possible if not for the loyal KFOX listeners whom I will miss the most. Being a small part of your day has been my honor. While I will not be a part of KFOX moving forward, the station will live on at 985 HD2 and on the KFOX APP. I found this quote from A.A. Milne that seems to sum up the way I feel - “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."
