KFRC: Where are these other ex-DJs?

I remember KFRC having one of the strongest weekend rosters going. Anyone here know whatever became of Candi Chamberlain, Miles Cameron, Bob Gowa, Karen D and Jack Friday?

I can only speak about Jack Friday, who has posted on this board a few times. He has been working in Oregon, either voice-tracking or programming...can't remember. But he seems content. He's made it clear that he has had a great radio career and seems to feel positive about all his experiences in both large and small markets.

It sounds like he's happy where he is, and he gives no indication whether or not he could be lured back to the Bay Area.

Candi Chamberlain (no relation to Don "California Girls" Chamberlain) is pretty much fed up with radio and is now in the insurance business. She and I have been trying to get together for quite a while so that we can add her incredible collection of airchecks to the museum website ... maybe in a few weeks we'll finally get it done.

Bob Gowa pops up regularly on the ba.broadcast Usenet group.

I believe that Bob Gawa [sic] is in New York with his own V/O business.

According to Bob Gowa's listing on 440:Satisfaction:

Bob says (12/06), "I started a second career in sales management in 2000; and since 5/06, I've been doing a little radio again; West Coasters can hear me on KGO, San Francisco doing news a few times each month; I'm living in the Sonoma Wine Country, collecting old radio microphones and enjoying life very much."

The most recent cellphone number I have from him has a 707 area code on it. Of course, my cellphone number has a 212 area code on it, and I don't live anywhere near New Yawk.
