KFRO

I know that the old MW-1 was a real POS. It seldom could ever make full power and didn't sound very good. Maybe the lightning strike was a good thing.

When I moved here in the fall of 1988 KFRO sounded good, had a strong signal in Kilgore at night and they were AM Stereo. I wish I had made some recordings with my Realistic AM Stereo tuner back then. They were running a satellite oldies format, and still had local news. Anyone know format it will be when it goes back on the air?
